PIERWSZA Silk Plant has a rich history and experience in manufacturing textiles and knits. In polish market it exists since 1933, when a joint stock company called "The First Polish Dyeing and Finishing Plant" was established. PIERWSZA Silk Plant continued operating after World War II. Its products have become highly recognized in the market, winning, among others, Gold Medals at the Poznań International Trade Fair in 2001 and 2002. The company also boasts a number of certificates and sells their products to both domestic and foreign customers.

The plant is equipped in fully operational and complete machines and equipment and engage in manufacturing textiles and knits on base of polyamide, polyester and viscose yarn. Bid of PIERWSZA Plant there are products of high quality, rich pattern-designing and varied using. The company operates two division: The Finishing Division located at ul. Pabianickiej 152/154 and The Weaving Division located at Al. Politechniki 30A.

The Finishing Division including the following departments: final product preparation, finishing and folding, printing and pattern cards, dyeing, ageing and scouring. The total monthly production capacity of the plant in operation amounts to 700,000 running meters of fabric. The Weaving Division has its own prepping department with warping machines and looming station. The total monthly production capacity of the plant in operation amounts to 250,000 running meters of fabric. The plant also has an extensive inventory of jacquard patterns.
